BEAT is bringing new and exciting opportunities to the youth in Bloomington and surrounding areas!
This pre-professional program allows students in grades 1-12 to work with nationally recognized clinicians in the fields of show choir, hip hop dance, vocal jazz, and popular music.
Emphasizing the highest musical standards and professional conduct, BEAT strives to create a positive atmosphere for young people to explore the art of singing, dancing, and performing.

2024-25 auditions are open!
We are currently accepting video auditions for Amplitude, Syncopation, and Mini-Sync for the 2024-25 school year! Click the button to access the audition sign-up and download the materials!
- Amplitude and Syncopation auditionees will prepare "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
- Mini-Sync auditionees will be asked to prepare "Happy Birthday" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and will be sung without accompaniment.
- Please make sure you have submitted both your audition form AND your vocal audition video in order to be considered for a BEAT ensemble for the 2024-25 school year!
- Syncopation will have a video dance callback once we receive your vocal audition video.
- There is no dance component to Amplitude & Mini-Sync auditions.

BEAT show choirs are currently at maximum capacity for the 2023-24 school year!
We will be holding auditions starting March 18, 2024 for the 2024-25 season.
